Chris M. Van Way, President and CEO

Chris M. Van Way, President and CEO graduated from Louisiana State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering. During his high school and college years he acquired significant hands-on knowledge about the oil business as a roustabout, roughneck, driller, tool pusher and gauger. Upon graduation from college he worked with his father, James P. Van Way, in the various family-owned businesses. Upon the formation of JP Oil, Chris Van Way was appointed Manager and Chief Operating Officer and was later named President and CEO of JP Oil in 1989.

Frank L. Walker, Treasurer and CFO

Frank L. Walker, Treasurer and CFO has been Chief Financial Officer at JP Oil since 1996. His areas of responsibility include accounting, finance, budgeting and planning, as well as human resources. Prior to joining JP Oil, Walker had more than 10 ten years of increasingly responsible accounting and finance roles for several independent oil and gas companies. He is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Walker is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as various state and local chapters.
